In October, I was settling into the library to do some studying.  Before me was my notebook, a laptop and a stack of books I just pulled off the shelves.  

As I cracked open the first book, I was overwhelmed with a wave of emotions.  What a privilege it is for me to be here studying the scriptures.  What an opportunity it is to be able to spend the time and the effort to plunge into the depths of who God is.  How humbling, that God would ever use someone like me to share the awesome news of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection and minister to those around me.  I am blown away by who God is and what He has been doing in and around me.  

What a joy it is to be a part of God’s will and mission -- to work, to speak and to think for His glory!

Hello!

...and thanks for visiting my blog!  

This is a space for me to share with everyone my thoughts and experiences as I embark on my journey as a seminarian and missionary in the great city of New York.  God is doing amazing things in the NY; it is in every aspect an honor, a joy and a great privilege to be able to be a part of God's Kingdom work as a missionary and minister.

In response to my call to serve the church in NY, I have enrolled in Alliance Theological Seminary.  This is so I can get the necessary training in how to read and teach the scriptures responsibly and with integrity.  

I have also been blessed with the privilege of joining Pastor Donald Yee at Connection Alliance Church, a new church plant in Flushing, Queens.  Here, I not only get to fellowship and serve with amazing people, but I also get the opportunity to be discipled and trained in all aspects of serving the church.  

It is a tremendous joy to serve the Lord, but it is not something done and experienced alone.  It is my desire to not only share my journey with you, but also to partner with you in prayer and finances.  As you go on this journey with me, I desire your support in prayer!  This is perhaps the most important aspect of ministry.  God can change not only me, but also the City of New York by His will as you and I pray!

You can also partner with me financially.  Through scholarships and others sources, I have been able to raise enough to cover half of my tuition and living expenses (Praise God)!  I still need to raise $15000 through gifts from friends, family and churches in order to cover the rest of my tuition and education expenses.  Please prayerfully consider partnering with me in this way!
